Decades ago, speakeasies received the name as patrons were often told to “speak easy” about these covert places when in public - strictly due to social ques and what was deemed right and good, they were kept secret, hidden, and protected.
We’re revitalizing and reclaiming the concept of what is exclusive and secret,
what aspects of our selves and our lives that we’ve been conditioned to keep small or keep quiet. In a freer way, let’s speak easy about these parts, to each other, and to ourselves.
